I am currently completing nursing school and will graduate in May 2027. I also hold CNA and phlebotomy licenses and have experience providing home care visits and working in the hospital, so caring for others is a big part of my daily life. While I attend classes and work hospital shifts, my schedule is quite flexible and I plan my time carefully. I am very organized and will make sure your pets receive reliable visits, attention, and companionship.

I will make sure that while taking care of your pet, all needs are tended to. I will make sure cat litter, or any other type of trash, is taken directly to an outside trash, bowls washed and water changed. When walking dogs, I am very observant and will make sure your dog is safe.
Information Rachel W. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know how the dog is with other dogs, if they have broken a leash or taken off before. Please let me know if there is another dog/house in the neighborhood that is a trigger for your dog so we can avoid them for safety.
A typical day
I love to go on walks by myself. My cats aren't into the leash idea (I've tried) so it's great to be able to take a dog with me. I tend to stick to the neighborhood where the dog lives and after observing how it reacts, sometimes take the dog to other locations, obviously with owners permission. If there is a preferred spot your dog loves, let me know!

Pet care experience
I have been around animals my whole life and was raised with dogs. I also horse back rode competitively for 15 years and have a lot of experience with taking care of horses, pigs, goats, chickens and other livestock. I am an owner of two precious kitties whom I rescued and my partner has two dogs that he rescued. I frequently walk and care for dogs in my neighborhood and I am the 'go-to' person in my friend group to watch any animals.

Reviews

Rachel is always amazing with communication and our kitties are so receptive to her. We love having Rachel sit for our boys every time.

Thank you, Rachel. I am comfortable being away knowing my cats are in good hands. They clearly love you and I always appreciate your communication and care. :)

Rachel was amazing helping with Minni! She was super professional, responsive, and clearly cared about doing a great job. Everything went smoothly, and we felt completely comfortable leaving Minni in her care. We really appreciated her communication and attention to detail. Highly recommend!

Rachel has been an amazing cat sitter. She always sends the best pictures along with detailed updates after each visit. It gives me peace of mind knowing my cats are happy, well cared for, and excited to see her every day while I’m away. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and communicative sitter.
