I have been around animals my whole life and was raised with dogs. I also horse back rode competitively for 15 years and have a lot of experience with taking care of horses, pigs, goats, chickens and other livestock. I am an owner of two precious kitties whom I rescued and my partner has two dogs that he rescued. I frequently walk and care for dogs in my neighborhood and I am the 'go-to' person in my friend group to watch any animals.

I will make sure that while taking care of your pet, all needs are tended to. I will make sure cat litter, or any other type of trash, is taken directly to an outside trash, bowls washed and water changed. When walking dogs, I am very observant and will make sure your dog is safe.

Rachel was absolutely wonderful with our cat and dog! Our cat doesn’t always come out for sitters (unless it’s breakfast or dinner time) and he came out and even snuggled a bit with Rachel which tells us how comfortable he was around her. Our fur kids were so well loved while we were gone and Rachel left us very detailed notes and lots of pictures with every visit! We will certainly be using Rachel again in the future and I would recommend her to anyone else!
Rachel is the absolute best! She’s compassionate, reliable, and knowledgeable of pet behaviors (no matter how wacky). She’s an excellent communicator and a diligent sitter. We highly recommend!

Schedule
I am currently completing nursing school and will graduate in May 2027. I also hold CNA and phlebotomy licenses and have experience providing home care visits and working in the hospital, so caring for others is a big part of my daily life. While I attend classes and work hospital shifts, my schedule is quite flexible and I plan my time carefully. I am very organized and will make sure your pets receive reliable visits, attention, and companionship.
