I've been a huge animal lover my whole life, I have cared for many different animals over the last 15+ years. I love learning about each pet I care for and what makes them tick. I have taken a class on animal behavior and I believe that we can learn a lot from our pets, so reading body language and understanding what they want and need is a top priority of mine to ensure their happiness. I have had the experience of working with all kinds of dogs in a high-stress environment when I was a dog bather/groomer so I am confident, comfortable with, and can be highly adaptable to your pets needs to ensure they are as comfortable and happy as possible while they are with me. My experience with dogs ranges from fostering and bottle feeding newborn puppies to administering medicine to elderly dogs. I am comfortable with all pets I care for. I was taught “treat others the way you want to be treated,” and I practice that in every aspect of my life. Rachel was a wonderful pet sitter - our dogs were well taken care of, and in a very happy place. Her communication and pictures were spot on when we were traveling, and our house was in great shape when we returned. We would be happy to have Rachel back in the future, and would recommend her 100%!

Rachel is awesome. My two dogs are not the friendliest pair but she did a wonderful job with the. She also took excellent care of my 2 cats. It was amazing to go out of town and not worry about how the pets were doing. Rachel made sure they all got some attention and is someone I would definitely hire again.
Rachael was amazing. She took great care of our fur babies even with an emergency situation and being unable to contact us. A wonderful care giver.

Schedule
I work at a school out in Burlington so I am at work on weekdays from 8:40am-3:40pm (I’m not back in Oak Harbor until around 4:40pm), and I am free on most weekends and minor holidays! I currently live with family so my pets are never alone when I’m out sharing the love with other pets who need care :) I will keep my schedule as up to date as possible.
