I had my own cat Hugo for 12 years and then I lived with my housemate and her dog Betsie for 4 years. Now I live on my own Betsie still comes to stay with me for a weekend about once a month. I also joined borrow my doggy where I walked and looked after a range of dogs. I absolutely love animals and keeping active and I appreciate being able to care for other peoples pets as it would be difficult to have my own pet full time. I will respect your rules with your pets from the training and commands you use to whether they are allowed on the furniture or not. I will make them feel safe and cared for until you come home.

I have access to a communal garden so it is easy to give your pet toilet breaks. I also live near the river and many parks for fun walks. I am happy to have your pet in my home if they will be comfortable in a one bedroom flat or I can pet sit at your home.

Rachel looked after our 9 year old golden retriever for 4 weeks from mid September to mid October. Archie adored her and we came home to find a very happy and contented dog. She kept us updated with regular photos and reports and I would not hesitate to recommend her as a dog sitter/ dog carer. She also kept our house very clean and tidy.
Rachel has been walking our 4 year old Cockerpoo for 3 years now through Borrow My Doggy. She has also had him to stay with her overnight and for long weekends. Rachel is reliable, honest and loves dogs. We are updated about how our dog is and she always checks and asks questions if our instructions are not clear. I have also witnessed her dog sit for a variety of dogs over the years from smalls ones to some quite large/ challenging ones. She is able to adapt and change to the need of any dog. Rachel is always super safe with our dog but what comes across the most is her love for not only our dog but all dogs. Our dog is always crazy excited to see her and doesn’t even look back when she collects him. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Schedule
I’m currently working from home so I am available during the week and on weekends. When I pet sit, I am available to walk them before and after work and at lunchtime and I will be home to keep them company.
Prices include all fees.
