Love sitting your pup in La Canada!
I've owned dogs for more than 15 years in the past. I no longer have any cats or dogs but do have backyard chickens who are kept in their coop at all times.

This was our first time boarding Bentley anywhere while on a week long vacation so we were very worried about him but Rachel did such an amazing job. Rachel and her family are all such kind individuals and they showered Bentley with so much love that he pretty much forgot about us. lol She sent us daily updates of how Bentley was adjusting and sent us so many amazing photos of him playing with other dogs. She was so accommodating with Bentleys eating, sleeping, and walking schedule. We hope Rachel and her family does this as long as possible so that we can peacefully go on future vacations. Thank you Rachel! Bentley already misses you guys!
This was our second time having Rachel and her family dog sit for us. Originally, I scheduled for one week. But I ended up getting Covid and asked Rachel if she could extend to another week as I was recovering. Rachel could not have been more kind and flexible with our unexpected change of plans. Rachel goes above and beyond—so attentive to details and responsible. She and her family are wonderful with playing with our dog, working with him on training and commands, taking him on walks, and giving lots of snuggles and love. I always love seeing the pictures and videos she sends—I love seeing my dog’s happy face!! Our family is thankful for Rachel and her family for the home away from home that they provide for our sweet doggie!
This was my dog Tate’s first stay with Rachel K., and he had a wonderful time! From the very first moment Tate met her at the Meet & Greet through the 9-day stay, Rachel was kind, attentive, personable, and responsible. She communicated each day and sent pictures and videos, gave Tate his monthly pills, and let me know how he was doing. Her home and yard is perfect for dogs—beautiful, enclosed yard with easy access in and out of the house. Tate loved playing with her husband and children and the other dogs and being part of their family while he was there! We will definitely be contacting Rachel next time we plan to be out of town. Great experience!

Rachel took such great care of my high energy 7 month old sheepdog while I was away for a week. She is a kind and warm host and it was so nice to get regular texts and photos of my pup having fun playing with Rachel’s family!

*** Daycare covers up to 12hrs. If you need to drop off your pup before 7am please consider boarding your pup a day prior. No pickups after 9pm please. *** I can accommodate up to four dogs at a time

I live in a house with a fenced backyard in a beautiful neighborhood of La Canada. Unless all pups are friendly to each other, I keep them in separate area inside the house. They will also have at least 3hrs of outdoor time in the fenced yard while being supervised, weather permitted. I would like to set up a Meet&Greet prior to your booking to make sure I am a good fit.

Boarding: I provide two walks per day. Please refer to the pictures to see my neighborhood. Each walk lasts about 20-30min. If your dog is energetic, I’d love to spend a good amount time outside in our backyard.
