I always make sure a pup is familiar and comfortable with me before a walk. I map my routes ahead of time (unless you have a preference!) to avoid highly populated areas or roads.

I love to give a pup some variety! I am a big fan of tugging games as well as ball games, and love to keep the energy up. I'm also great at getting senior pups excited!

Hello! My name is Phoenix, and I've been working as a dog walker and sitter since 2022. I grew up around dogs of all sizes and ages, and I was the primary carer for several old pups in Nebraska for a few summers. I've recently relocated to Austin, and am excited to meet some new dogs and see some new sites! In my spare time, I love reading and watching theater.

Phoenix has cared for our dog, Cooper. We are very particular about our pet care as Cooper is on a special diet and requires someone to be diligent with that. We live in an area where he needs to be walked on a leash because we don't have a fenced yard. There are not a lot of folks who care for dogs who are willing to do this. Phoenix is and we are very grateful for that.
Phoenix cared for our lab-mix, Tacoma, several times for us while we traveled and we could not have been more pleased with his care! She stayed in our home overnight, always made sure he was well cared for, followed our instructions, and left us reports on how he faired while we were gone. On one of our trips there were severe storms, and instead of staying him a home without power, she got our permission to take him to her house so he would be in a more comfortable environment. When we get another dog she will be first on our list of care givers!
