GWU student w/ veterinary skills

Hi, I’m Pelletier, but you can call me Pella! My mom is a veterinarian, so I have been around animals my whole life, and I worked officially in her clinic all through high school after years of helping out after school. Because of my veterinary experience, I am very comfortable with dogs who have mobility issues or other disabilities. I grew up with both very large and very small dogs, along with cats, birds, reptiles, fish, livestock, and more, so I am comfortable with an array of different animals, and love them all. Petsitting has been an on-and-off gig for many years now, so I have gotten plenty of experience with many different pets and personalities, especially since joining Rover in Summer 2025. I do require a “meet and greet” before booking any overnight stays in order to make sure I am a good fit for you and your pet(s), so please keep that in mind when booking. Thank you for considering me to care for your pet(s)!

Pella is such a great sitter! She took the best care of our dog who is recovering from a CCL injury. Super responsive and responsible, and I know my dog Laila will be so excited to see her again soon!!

Pelletier was great with Charlie. We received updates while we were away and Charlie adored her! We’ll use her again!

Amazing is a simple way to put it. Took care of my babies for me and sent me updates throughout the day so I knew they were okay. Will definitely recommend to everyone

Great job. I appreciate that Pella went above and beyond to make my fur babies (and me) feel comfortable leaving on my trip.

Bella was amazing with our four dogs. We were able to be gone without stress and we appreciate that. Sides range between 70 pds and 120 pounds and she had no problem with that. Very communicative! I recommend her to anyone needing this service, Pella is fantastic!

Pella was absolutely amazing with my pups! She’s a natural with dogs and they could sense her genuine affection for them. She’s a natural dog mommy and I will definitely use her in the future.

Calendar and availability

Schedule

I’m a college student, so though I will need to work around my class schedule, I am otherwise very flexible. I am most available on weekends, but I can make most weekdays work.

Where your pet will stay

Safety, trust & environment

I live in the dorms, so cannot care for animals in my own living space, but I can petsit in your home. I can stay overnight or stay during the night and come back in the morning.

A typical day

We can play, go on walks, or just chill! I am down to do whatever will be best for your pet. Let me know what a typical day looks like in your house so that I can minimize any change in routine!

I will need both an emergency contact and a vet contact before sitting your pet, so that I can make sure they get the best care if the worst happens. Please also let me know if your pet has any regular or as-needed medications and how to administer them, and if your pet has any special needs or requirements.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
