Your dog will have a Blast!

Whether your dog needs play time or a quiet environment, they will love hanging out with me and my 4 legged companion. When I'm not working, my dog and I go on some pretty cool adventures together and he loves it when I dog sit a dog at his speed. Your dog will not be cooped up in a kennel unless you make this request. When they are not playing, your pet will be kept indoors. I have over 10 years of working with bully breeds and hybrids. High energy breeds is my field of expertise. My home is minutes from the beautiful San Antonio River and we visit there often. Some of our favorite hangouts are, the Pearl Brewery, San Antonio Riverwalk, Alamo Quarry, Calaveras Lake and many nature trails in our area. I will spoil your Best Friend as I do my own. Proceeds from my Pet sits will benefit my non profit that provides emergency groceries for Homebound Seniors. About this sitter: I totally get it! Let me visit your pets in the comfort of their own home. I'm use to traveling and frequent the major cities of TX every month. I am very familiar with the city of S.A. and surrounding. Your dog will receive a walk twice a day if you would like him or her to. I have trained and worked with all breeds and sizes so no dog is too big or high energy for me! Why I love dog sitting My Grandfather raised German Shepherds and my Father loved Large Breeds. Growing up, I remember always having dogs. In 2000 I started a group called Mutt Rescue & Adoption to help save dogs that are pending euthanasia at the city Pound. Our group rescued and transported animals nationwide. We saved thousands of dogs from euthanasia! My experience administering medication I can administer medication by oral or injection.

I can't say enough good things about Paula. She asked all the right questions to learn about Crockett, she sent 24 pictures sometimes with comments during a 2 day stay, she was very accommodating with the drop off and pick up times, and you could tell she loved dogs. I would definitely use her again.

Paula is the best dog sitter ever! I'm not just saying that honestly the way she handles your dog it will immediately put you at ease and give you that trusted feeling. Our two dogs love the runs and walks and outdoor time! Thanks Paula you rock!

From the first moment when our dog Jenny met Paula there has been only positive and healthy things to say about this dog sitter and her animal family. We since have had a new puppy join Jenny and the two dogs could not be more at home with the back yard, the chickens, the children to play with, and the park so close to the sitters home. Paula also has vast veterinary knowledge and that has been a huge help. Paula rocks!

This was our very first time leaving our fur babies and were not sure what to expect, but she made it all very easy and was great about keeping us updated how they were doing. They are 6 and 7 month old and can be a handle full and she did great!

Zoey is a very shy insecure dog. During the meet and greet, Paula was very patient with Zoey and made me feel very comfortable about boarding her during my upcoming vacation. Paula sent pictures and updates throughout the entire stay. I could see Zoey coming out of her shell and making herself right at home while she was there. I would definitely recommend Paula to anyone needing to board their dogs.

Amber got so much attention. I loved that she got to stay with Paula and her family instead of in a kennel. Paula is fantastic with dogs and I look forward to booking with her again.

Safety, trust & environment

I try to stick to the dog's current schedule. If it's a puppy, then I help with the toilet training process. I do have 2 cats in my home, but they can be separated to another bedroom if your dog does not co exist well with cats.

Pets

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks Several parks on in my area and I love the Riverwalk and Pearl Brewery Market :) Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dog will sleep inside. Time I'll spend with your dog I try to include your dog in my daily routine. My own guys ride with me when it's possible. The river is a hop skip and a jump away and is a favorite hang out for us. Keeping your dog busy is key to keeping his stress levels down. Lots of dogs have anxiety because they are away from their owners. As long as I keep them busy, it makes for the days to fly by quickly.

I am not breed specific when it comes to pet sitting. Every dog has it's own personality and little quirks. Some of the questions I ask most dog owners before their pet stay is: 1.) Does your dog play well with other dogs? 2.) Has your dog been around Livestock? 3.) Is your four legged friend house trained? How do they let you know they need to go out?
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
