📍La Saidia, València Languages I speak : 🇪🇸🇺🇸🇫🇷 TL:DR: I’m a multilingual pet sitter based in Valencia who works with many expats, travelers, and locals who don’t have local family or support networks available to care for their pets when they’re away. With open and flexible scheduling, I am also available for regular drop-in visits or walks to make sure your pet gets proper exercise if you’re too busy with work or are undergoing a life transition such as welcoming a new baby or recovering from surgery! Who am I? My family has always been a dog-owning family so I am very comfortable around dogs of all sizes and breeds. I’ve been a trusted companion on Rover since 2016, with many repeat customers, and I can be counted on to care for your pet as well as your home as if they were my own. I love meet and greets because they allow me to establish rapport with your pet before service begins and I get to learn how to provide the best care. I am good with anxiety prone dogs as I believe that our pets are capable of understanding human emotions and likewise, I pay attention to their body language to gauge their emotions. I have experience with dogs with behavioural challenges, managing multiple pets at once and even caring for dogs in recovery from surgery. I also have formed part of the care and support team for a dog undergoing chemotherapy. I can’t resist playing outside if the weather is nice and I love going on long walks with your pet! I am a bit of a nomad and I love Rovering wherever I go I including Washington, DC 🇺🇸, Montréal, 🇨🇦 and Alice Springs, 🇦🇺.

In your home, I prioritize reducing your pet’s anxiety in your absence. I keep them to their normal schedule so they don’t feel stressed. In the first 24 hrs of a house sit, I’m focusing on calming your pet and forming trust with them so they know they’ll be safe with me. I take care of your home as if it were my own; I can water plants too. Past reviews show that I often leave places cleaner than I found them!

Paola fue realmente increíble! Para “padres primerizos” que nunca habian dejado a su cachorro con alguien, se auguró que nos sintiéramos cómodos desde el día uno. Vino a conocernos antes de nuestro viaje y nos preguntó todo sobre el cuidado de nuestro perro, lo que nos dio mucha seguridad y confianza. Nos envió actualizaciones todos los días y sugirió los primeros comandos de entrenamiento para asegurar continuidad mientras estábamos de viaje. Definitivamente recomiendo a Paola y de seguro la agendaremos de nuevo 🤍

Paola was really great with walking my dog Layla. She was thoughtful with keeping Layla safe near the roads, when meeting other dogs and stopping her from eating trash from the ground. She clearly has a lot of experience and a good instinct with animal behavior

Programa
I have recently moved to Valencia 🇪🇸so at the moment I have wide open schedule. This means I am 100% attentive to your pet’s needs and can provide impromptu walks if you are busy with work. During house sits, I use my remote work and study flexibility to offer your pet round-the-clock presence and company. If I do have to step out, I try not to leave dogs alone longer than a couple of hours. My priority is keeping your pet as close to their schedule as possible so they don’t get anxious or miss you (too much!)
