I love dogs and have cared for 4 now in my life. My Westie lived to be 18 years old and went through 2 major surgeries within a few days of each other when he was 12. He was diagnosed with diabetes when he was 14. Both my husband and I have experience with insulin injections. I have fostered several dogs for several months for a rescue that was based out of OK. I have 2 boys, 6 and 2, that also love dogs and snuggle with our 2 Pekes. We also have a Shih Tzu that is more attached to me then any other person in our household. We live in a quite neighborhood with sidewalks on several blocks and have a fenced in yard for the pups to enjoy some fresh air and sun shine. I currently work part time which allows me to be around to care for your fur baby. We allow our dogs to roam the house (laminate floor areas) and are willing to allow your baby to sleep on the guest bed right across form our room or on a dog bed on my side of the floor.
