🐾 Afternoon or Evening Pet Sitting Visits 🐾 Headed out of town? I’m offering once-per-day check-ins in the afternoon or evening to help care for your pets and your home. Or, if your pet(s) choose to stay in my home, we will love & care for them as our own. We have lots of space for running, and a *partially* fenced yard (while I stay outside with them, I am not comfortable caring for any famous escape artists :) We have two dogs, two bunnies, two guinea pigs, a conure, beehives, and a bearded dragon in our little zoo :) ✅ Former Licensed Veterinary Technician – experienced and confident with all kinds of pets, from the usual cats & dogs to handling more exotic companions like reptiles, lizards, birds, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Comfortable with administering any medications and special diets. ✅ Feeding, fresh water, and clean enclosures/litter boxes, and ensuring enclosures are functioning properly for our scaled friends. ✅ Helpful extras while you’re away, like bringing in mail/packages, cycling lights, or anything else I can help with! By day, I work flexible hours but I love to use my animal care background to offer this service as a way to help save for college costs for my kiddos but still doing something I really love! 🐶🐱🐢🐇 Whether you’re gone for a day or a few weeks, you can relax knowing your pets are well-cared for :) 📩 Send me a message if you’d like to schedule care or have questions! Or would like a custom quote for pets that aren't the typical type :) Please note: Unfortunately I am not the best fit for drop-ins if you need multiple visits per day. Monica and family took GREAT care of my little Tyler including daily updates and pictures during his stay. Tyler seemed comfortable and happy when I picked him up which speaks volumes. Highly recommend!

I absolutely recommend Monica for all pet care needs. After a not-so-great boarding experience in the past we were very nervous to leave our dog anywhere but Monica’s gentle care and love for animals was immediately apparent and it put us at ease. She provides regular updates and is quick to respond. Our dog has been with Monica twice and just loves her and her pups as well. We will absolutely be rebooking again :)
Monica went above and beyond to care for our sweet girl. She was thoughtful and careful in introducing our pup to hers and sent regular updates. Lucy had the absolute best time. We are so appreciative of the care that she provided. Her love towards animals was so apparent. We will definitely be rebooking! It means so much to be able to trust someone else with our pup.
Monica is the best, she’s the Rover momma that other Rover mommas pick for their fur babies! My fat cat adores her and does so much better when I travel if Monica comes by. He has made it very obvious that he is Monica’s biggest fan!

Harmonogram
While I do work a few days in the office, I work from home 2-3 days per week (and I'm generally around every weekend) and love to spend time with and care for animals throughout the day. Drop-in availability varies by day, but generally between 10am-10pm and generally up to once per day. Depending on the time of day, I may have two helpers with me - my very pet-savvy & responsible/supervised twin girls :)

I will respect your home and am very tidy, so you can come home at ease. I enjoy caring for all species (dog, bird, rabbit, cat, lizards/reptiles), and I am happy to provide care & attention as needed each day.

I love to gain the trust and affection of all pets, and even if they’re not particularly affectionate, that’s ok! I want them to know I respect their boundaries and will still love and care for them. My goal is a happy and safe pet that needn't worry while you’re away.
