I do have a corporate job which limits some daytime flexibility but am flexible for same day or planned bookings! I truly just miss spending time with dogs and love walking and exploring the city. I am free weekends, early mornings and days after 6pm, with the occasional lunch time flexibility.

I absolutely love big dog breeds but am happy and comfortable with any! I’d love to know a bit about their temperament and their favorite thing to do when out and about. Mine is to take a new path or way each time I walk so I can always stay exploring new areas!
A typical day
I know the importance of exercise, exploration and mental stimulation, especially having gotten a golden retriever puppy during the COVID lockdowns. I’m happy to help them explore, get their energy out with any toys/games, and bare any and all weather.

I’ve had animals since I was a kid but miss pups since I moved to Manhattan/JC area 4+ years ago. I grew up with a golden retriever and got a second family golden during COVID. I’ve always had dogs, cats and horses of my own as well as spent most of my teenage to adulthood cat and dog-sitting for neighbors, friends and family. I have 2 cats here but truly miss spending time with pups. Looking for a walking buddy so we can both benefit from it!

Miya is an excellent choice for all your pet care services and needs. I am lucky enough to be Miya’s neighbor and frequently rely on her pet sitting and walking for my large energetic dog. She is always great with handling our dog, as well as the many other dogs, cats, pets, plants, etc. in the neighborhood. We highly recommend her for any of your dog walking and pet care needs.
Miya has watched and walked my two dogs many times. She has been responsible, arrives on time, and does the job as requested. I have no reservations with letting her take my pups. Always a pleasure and she is truly an animal lover.
She would do what was asked of her and was always ready to help and my dog loved her so it must mean she’s good with dogs and dogs liked her.
