Compassionate Cat Caretaker
I've had cats my whole life and have always loved caring for them! Feeding, playing, lots of pets, and cleaning - I will do it all! I am comfortable with cats of all ages and personalities. I have worked with newborn kittens, extremely shy and anxious cats, and cats who have nervous tendencies around unfamiliar people. No matter who your cat is, I will provide them with care that lets them feel as comfortable as possible. I have experience caring for diabetic cats and can check and interpret blood sugar levels, administer insulin, and deal with hypoglycemic episodes.

I will care for your pets by following all instructions and routines that they are accustomed to. Whether it be through their feeding schedules, preferred toys and treats, or by giving them the space they need to get comfortable, I strive to give every pet the best experience possible when their parents are away.

Miriam stepped in at the last minute and took excellent care of our 2 cats over the long weekend. I got so many pictures of my cats happily playing and getting lots of attention.

Miriam is an absolute angel of a human. This was our first time leaving our cat Dante for multiple days since we adopted him recently and we had no idea what to expect. Dante ended up being really stressed out in the beginning which of course made us anxious to be away from him. Miriam was so communicative and reassuring with us as well as so patient, gentle, and such a pro with Dante that he warmed up quickly and was thriving by the end. We could not recommend her enough and can only hope that she’s available the next time we need someone to look after our sweet boy.

Harmonogram
I am a freelance trombonist and music educator in the Bay Area, and I'd love to care for your pets between my rehearsals, performances, and lessons. My flexible schedule generally allows for care at any time of the day and as often as needed. At this time, I cannot commit to specific time requests unless needed for medical reasons. I will do my very best to have your visit within +/- 60 minutes of your request time and will work with you to fit your pet's needs into my schedule!
