Though I was raised with many different types of pets, I’ve always had a connection with dogs. I was finally able to get my own dog (yellow lab) in my later twenties when I bought my first house. One year later, I acquired another dog (shih-tzu/poodle mix) to have as a buddy for my yellow lab - they were together for 12+ years. Getting involved in dog boarding has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Since I already work from home as a freelance graphic designer, I thought, why not add in dog boarding too! My family and I are dog lovers! I provide a fun, but calm atmosphere, so your dog(s) will be happy when they’re here, when they go home, and when they return! I work from home, so I have the time to care for your dog(s) individually. All dogs are fed morning and night unless instructed differently. Also, all dogs are let out within every two hours during the day, and right before bedtime. • My family and I are all dog lovers - your dog(s) become part of my family! • Because they feel calm, their adjustment time is usually within an hour or two. • My furniture is covered, so that's available for them lay and nap on. • If your dog(s) uses a crate to sleep in at night, I have a designated area in family room of my house. • I always set up a Meet & Greet before booking any-and-all dogs to make sure your dog(s) and my regulars will all be safe and get along

Mike made it easy to leave my puppy. He was so good at sending pictures and videos. He also figured out how to work with her strengths when she was there for a week. She was a happy girl when I picked her up!!! She loved being at Mikes house with all his pack.
Mike was great with our red lab! Great with communication and sending us lots of pictures and updates while our pup was at his house.

Have booked with Mike two times now and plan to book again in August. Mike has done an outstanding job taking such great care of our little fur baby! Received daily photos/ videos which gave extra comfort and loved seeing Remi make new besties. Would highly recommend! :)
We've used Mike multiple times for both daycare and boarding, and Marvel is always excited to see him. During Marvel's recent boarding stay, he unexpectedly got sick and was vomiting the first night. Mike was excellent about keeping me updated on how he was doing and I especially appreciated the extra care Mike took to help Marvel recover. He knew to start him on a bland diet, cooked rice and turkey for him, and gradually mixed his kibble back in as he improved. It gave me a lot of peace of mind knowing Marvel was being cared for by someone knowledgeable and attentive. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and experienced dog sitter.

Since I do work from home as a freelance Graphic Designer, I am able to care for your dog, or dogs, on an almost continual basis.

A typical day
I have a clean fenced yard to run and play in with other active dogs I may be boarding. Most dogs go home happy and tired, and excited to come back!
