Dog-loving couple home full time
I've had the joy of having 15 dogs and six cats throughout my life! Most recently, my husband (Andrew) and I had the most adorable, fun Golden Retriever as our companion who recently passed away after a long life of happiness in our family. So, with our twins all grown and away in university, we are empty nesters who will happily spoil your companion! I work from home every day for 2-4 hours; Andrew is full time work from home. So we are both able to provide whatever care is needed or playtime or exercise outside for a walk. And if you let us know your pet's schedule we can adjust ours to match what your pet needs. Weather permitting, we can take care of and enjoy your pet outside in our unfenced yard, (one or both of us will always be outside with your pet) or out and about for walks. And we make snuggling a priority throughout the day! Looking forward to seeing your companion!

Mika and Andrew took phenomenal care of our dog Jim while we were on a long international trip. They helped Jim feel “at home” and made sure his routine stayed as consistent as possible. He got to play with a lot of new dog friends, received personal attention and love, got to go on neighborhood walks, and looked so happy and relaxed in the pictures we received each day. Mika and Andrew stayed in regular contact and provided great updates. It was much easier to enjoy our trip knowing that Jim was in excellent hands. We will absolutely be returning to Mika and Andrew for any daycare and boarding needs in the future!

It was a pleasure having Mika and Andrew sit for us. Our dogs looked quite content to stay with them and mill around with other guests. Always in touch. Highly recommended.
If I could give Mika 10 out of 5 stars, I absolutely would—and Bubba, my extremely pampered golden retriever, would insist on the same. Mika didn’t just walk him; she treated him like the distinguished gentleman-prince he believes he is. From the moment she arrived, Bubba acted like he’d known her forever (a rare honor typically reserved for people holding rotisserie chickens). She handled his royal-level antics with total grace and made sure he got a proper adventure, not just a loop around the block. The updates she sent were perfectly timed, and the photos? Adorable enough to make me wonder if I should hire her as Bubba’s personal photographer too. By the time they returned, Bubba was happy, tired, and looking at me like, “So… when’s Mika coming back?” Highly, wholeheartedly, enthusiastically recommend. Mika is a gem—and according to Bubba, now part of the family.

Both of us are full-time working from home so we’re always here during the day and actively caring and attentive to whatever your dog needs.

We’ll follow your dog’s normal routine so that when they are here they can feel like they’re at home. And being empty nesters our attention will be focused on your dog, and he or she will be an active part of our home during the stay.
Ein typischer Tag
Lots of time for playing but also will let them relax when it's clear that's what they want. We’ll give your dog a good, fun "battle" with their favorite pull toy, and we're always happy to get down on the floor with them and roll around! There will be plenty of exercise and time outside as we love strolling on the walking paths in our pleasant neighborhood, Or just sitting under our nice shade tree for a petting is always welcome!
