Pet care experience
Going on vacation or up to the cabin? Energetic, experienced & caring teacher off for the summer, ready & willing to do cat & dog care & dog walking all from your home. I’m open to other pets, as well. I previously ran a doggy daycare for several years from my former home. I took care of a wide variety of breeds with great reviews. Our family also had our own awesome dog, a golden-lab mix we raised from puppyhood to age 12. My current pet is a sweet & cuddly Nebelung breed cat I’ve had for 5 years. I’m organized, reliable and give gentle and compassionate care to animals of all types. I live in the Minneapolis area. Willing to travel within the metro region. Note: Unfortunately, I cannot take pets into my tiny condominium home. I’m happy to come to you! I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends!

I have used several different people on Rover to watch my 2 dogs over the last few years, and Michelle has been the absolute best. I never leave reviews and felt compelled to leave one for Michelle because she was that great with my dogs. I have a senior dog who requires quite a bit of medication including eye drops (which is not the easiest thing to do) and Michelle administered the meds without hesitation. Michelle’s family is also great and gave both of my dogs lots of love. Michelle updated me daily with how the dogs were doing and pictures. Michelle was also very flexible and accommodating to drop off and pick up times. Pickup was breeze, she had all of their stuff packed up and in the driveway making things super easy and convenient. I would highly recommend Michelle for your pet card needs. Thank you Michelle and family for taking such good care of my babies!
Michelle & her family took such great care of our pup for a week! She was so great with communication and updated us daily with pictures and what they did that day. Every day she made sure to keep him active. Highly recommend!
Michelle and her daughter Elisabeth are wonderful dog owners and dog enthusiasts! They cared for my dogs Sampson and Maisy and they received so much love! Their visit was filled with snuggles, 1:1 time, and walks!
Michelle & family have become what we call "Jack's summer family". We were fortunate to find them four years ago on Rover. Jack loves it!! He prances in the house and doesn't look back! He gets lots of love, lots of scratches, lots of snuggles, plenty of play & exercise and we get updates with pictures!
