Having lost my own dog in December 2025, and not being ready to replace her, I have returned to housesitting as a way to enjoy the company of pets. Eddie (my dog) and I spent several years housesitting around Europe. In that time we looked after dogs and cats (and even a donkey!) in varying quantities and sizes. I can provide your pet with both its usual routine and some added enrichment to ease any separation anxiety. I am used to giving medication and have a good knowledge of animal health to be able to spot any problems early and get the veterinary care needed. I am a non-smoker, clean and tidy and very respectful of other people's homes. I have my own car and can travel throughout the UK (and overseas) - not just the 60 mile limit that the site puts on my profile! I work for myself on a part time basis from my laptop so will spend a good amount of time around the house to ensure everything and everyone is taken care of. Housesitting started out as a way for me to travel and explore Europe to find a new place to live - but I have fallen in love with the lifestyle and find it incredibly rewarding - both to see happy pets, and delighted owners when they return. I'm new to Rover, but I have several 5* reviews and repeat clients that can vouch for my trustworthiness and the standard of care your beloved pets will receive.
