I am currently working part time and will be available for care most weekends, Mondays and Tuesdays! I will have plenty of time to fit in caring for your pet, whether it be walks or more involved pet-sitting days.

I have a fully walled off yard with some grass space to run around and my dogs would roam freely. The house is mostly wood flooring and we are used to having dogs in it! There is also a lovely park within walking distance that I used to go to a lot to run the dogs and give them lots of sniffing opportunities. They knew their routes around the neighborhood and we would stop often for sniffing time. Gibby was more adventurous so I would take him to work, to dinners, to the beach (anywhere, really) and he loved every second of it.

Please let me know if there is anything I should know about preferences for your pup or additional care that I need to give. I've spent most of this year caring for a very senior dog so I know what goes into it and I would do what I can do help ease the stress and worry. I personally love breeds that are very friendly to everyone or easy-going/calm, but am an all dog lover and will still love a little shy pup as well.
Ein typischer Tag
We're going to go on walks around the neighborhood, always stopping when needed for sniffing social stimulation. Outside time is extremely important and I'm content to walk or even just sit outside with a dog to help them get out of the house. I also love to play! If your dog loves to fetch or be chased, I'm always down to get some zoomies out! If there is a trick routine, I'd love to help reinforce that training as well.

I've had 3 dogs in my family since I was 8 years old, with the oldest recently passing this year at 17. I've loved caring for her from a puppy to her last moments. I am now experienced in caring for senior dogs (including medications) and know to keep an attentive eye on their behaviors to get what they need. Wherever I am and whoever I'm with, I love spending time with dogs and always offer to help out with care, walking, or pet-sitting if needed! At my old job, dogs were allowed on campus and I frequently took my dog (and others) on walks throughout the day. I honestly just love dogs and miss having one to take care of and cuddle with so I would love to give some of that love and care to your lovely pup!
