Love Dogs of All Sizes and Breeds!
My wife and I have been married for 16 years and we've had dogs for almost that entire time. Shortly after getting married, we got Peanut, our first pup together. Peanut was a small Miniature Pinscher (about 7lbs.) and he was perfect for us while I was in the military. After a long life, we had to put our baby down. Not long afterward, we wanted another fur baby. This time we went big. We got Marleigh, a 110lb Great Dane, from a local rescue and loved every minute with her. Unfortunately, due to health complications, we recently had to put Marleigh down as well. We recently adopted a sweet Doberman from a friend at the local dog park. Due to her job in the Navy, she became unable to keep him and she asked us if we would adopt him. He's a bit shy around people and will bark quite a bit when people come to the house, but he gets along great with other dogs including little ones (see the pics). I work from home as an IT professional, so I'm available to watch a dog or two and provide them with the same loving care we show our own pups. I'm available for dog walking, pet sitting, doggy daycare, and boarding. We do have a fenced yard with plenty of room for the dogs to run.

It was our first time using Rover for dog sitting and I couldn’t be happier with the care that our dog received from Mike! We received multiple updates, videos and photos of her stay. She had a huge yard to run in and got to play with Mikes dog. She was in heaven! We will be booking again :)

When you pick up your pups from a sitter, you just know in your gut if they had a good visit or an "okay" visit, especially for a week+. My partner told me not to give too good a review so that they won't get booked up too much :D The pups are happy, safe and well cared for. Pictures and videos often. We really appreciate how much they treat them like their own!
Both our pups came back well-behaved, healthy and happy! Usually they have to be retrained after leaving them with a sitter but not with Michael, his wife, and Jax (super sweet, playful pup). Thank you!
Michael was an excellent pet/house sitter. He was quick and concise with communication and immediately scheduled a meet and greet (without me requesting one). During the meet and greet I could tell our boys were already comfortable with him (and he with them). He asked specific questions about the dogs that focused on their wellfare. We were uncertain of our times and he was willing a ready to work around our schedule. I received updates and pictures as well as questions and clarification. When we returned home the house was exactly as we left it. In short, he's exactly what we want in a petsitter and it led to a very stress-free weekend. Thank you Michael!

Schedule
I work from home so it fits into my schedule quite well. When the weather is nice, I try to work outside which gives the dogs plenty of time to play.

We try to care for other people's pets the same as we would our own. If you let them on the furniture, so will we. If you don't, we won't.

A typical day
I love to hike, so weather permitting we'll take the dogs out to one of the local parks or trails for a walk. Additionally, we like to play fetch in the backyard.
