When you’re here, you’re family. Any animal under my care will be treated as one of my own. But with me, you get a whole family who are all trained in caring for dogs and cats, as each member of the household has been involved with fostering pups and raising kitties. The second floor of the house is separated by a door at the top of the stairs to allow separation between feline and canine friends if needed. Daily photos and FaceTime are available. We have multiple-sized dog crates if crating is requested. Although we may be new faces to your four legged companions, we will try to keep consistency in the rules you have at your home. If they are allowed on your couch, then they will be here. Feeding schedule will be dictated by how they ate at home. Walks will be frequent and there is a huge box of dog toys and cat toys to keep them entertained.

Information Michael O. would like to know about your pet
The most important thing for me to know about your furry loved ones is what they enjoy and what will make them feel comfortable and at home.
A typical day
Our animal companions are always happier and healthier when they have plenty of physical and mental stimulation. With this in mind, I have multiple puzzle mats to keep your furry loved ones mentally stimulated. For their exercise needs, dogs in my care will get walks about every two hours and time to play outside and at the park, weather permitting. Multi-day dogs will also have the chance for at least one hike and end the day with a pupcup (with parent permission)

Pet care experience
As an experienced dog foster, I have cared for more than 25 dogs of all ages, from newborn puppies to senior dogs, representing a wide variety of breeds and sizes. In addition, I was the proud owner of four dogs who each lived long, happy lives and reached their senior years before crossing the Rainbow Bridge. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the important role pets play as beloved members of the family. As a school teacher, I enjoy a very flexible schedule during the summer months and would love the opportunity to support families who need a safe, loving temporary home for their four-legged companions. Whether your pet needs overnight care, companionship during the day, or some extra exercise and attention, I am committed to providing the same level of care and affection that I would give my own dogs.

Reviews
So I was only gonna be gone for a night. So I fed my cat and scooped its litter and left. I get to my hotel and my camera in my house isn't working to check in on her. So Im freaking out. Did the whole (Did I leave the oven on and did the house burn down) thing in my head. Mike ended up going over with one hour notice. Face timed me while there. He changed the water and scooped the litter but then also FaceTimed me while we investigated the camera issue. Turned out I unplugged the router which is plugged in behind the couch in the living room. So I got a cat drop in and a tech guy in one.
I would absolutely recommend Michael to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their pets. He's dependable, attentive, and clearly has a natural way with animals. He keeps you updated with messages and photos, which is a great comfort. You can be certain your pet is well cared for, and comfortable. It's clear that he treats every animal as if it were his own. I wouldn't hesitate to book with him.
Michael is not just a loving caregiver to all animals, but he has also worked with dog behaviorists through his multiple years of dog fostering. So he knows not just how to care for a pet, but also how to make them comfortable and feel safe. Your pet will be in great hands.
