When you’re here, you’re family. Any animal under my care will be treated as one of my own. But with me, you get a whole family who are all trained in caring for dogs and cats, as each member of the household has been involved with fostering pups and raising kitties. The second floor of the house is separated by a door at the top of the stairs to allow separation between feline and canine friends if needed. Daily photos and FaceTime are available. We have multiple-sized dog crates if crating is requested. Although we may be new faces to your four legged companions, we will try to keep consistency in the rules you have at your home. If they are allowed on your couch, then they will be here. Feeding schedule will be dictated by how they ate at home. Walks will be frequent and there is a huge box of dog toys and cat toys to keep them entertained.

Information Michael O. would like to know about your pet
The most important thing for me to know about your furry loved ones is what they enjoy and what will make them feel comfortable and at home.
A typical day
Our animal companions are always happier and healthier when they have plenty of physical and mental stimulation. With this in mind, I have multiple puzzle mats to keep your furry loved ones mentally stimulated. For their exercise needs, dogs in my care will get walks about every two hours and time to play outside and at the park, weather permitting. Multi-day dogs will also have the chance for at least one hike and end the day with a pupcup (with parent permission)

Seasoned dog foster
Pet care experience
As an experienced dog foster, I have cared for more than 25 dogs of all ages, from newborn puppies to senior dogs, representing a wide variety of breeds and sizes. In addition, I was the proud owner of four dogs who each lived long, happy lives and reached their senior years before crossing the Rainbow Bridge. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the important role pets play as beloved members of the family. As a school teacher, I enjoy a very flexible schedule during the summer months and would love the opportunity to support families who need a safe, loving temporary home for their four-legged companions. Whether your pet needs overnight care, companionship during the day, or some extra exercise and attention, I am committed to providing the same level of care and affection that I would give my own dogs.

Reviews

Michael went above and beyond taking care of our dog when we were away on vacation. He got sick the night before we dropped him off. We told Michael about it when we arrived and he was more than willing to take care of him. Turns out that our dog had a what appeared to be a partial blockage. Michael without hesitation was willing to take him to our vet to be diagnosed. He then faithfully gave him his medication all while communicating everything with us. We are more than grateful. Thank you Michael!

Michael was great yet again! I swear my dog is sad after leaving your place - no art projects or bedtime stories here with me! Thank you for the daily photos and updates. It really helps me know that she is in good hands.
Michael was very accommodating regarding booking my pup’s stay being that it was somewhat last minute. This was the first time I had booked with Michael, and everything was great. He was very attentive and communicated with me throughout the three-day stay. He did Pup Painting with her, and she came home with her masterpiece! I know my baby was taking care of, and I will definitely be booking with him again in the future!

Michael and family were great! He was very responsive and checked in every day. You could tell he cared for my fur baby and took great care of her. He listened to her routine and also spoiled her with lots of snuggles and attention. I’m not sure she actually wanted to come home! I would 100% recommend Michael- and I will be sending my fur baby to daycare camp with him again!
