I care for pets by being attentive to their individual needs and personalities. I love engaging with animals — whether that means giving them lots of affection and attention, going on walks, playing, or simply making sure they get fresh air and stimulation throughout the day. I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life, and my family has always owned extra-large breeds — including our current gentle giant, who weighs 130 lbs! Because of that, I’m comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I understand that every pet has different needs, whether they’re playful and energetic or shy and routine-oriented.

Michael M. has watched my dogs for a number of years, with Stella (who has since passed) and more recently with our chocolate lab, Jesse, and every experience has been great. All of our dogs have been rescues and have had issues being around strangers but they warmed up to Michael immediately. He was also sure to provide us with updates, check-ins, and pictures throughout their stay. I've found Michael M. to be reliable, easy to communicate with, and clearly comfortable around dogs. It’s hard to find someone you fully trust with your pet, but I’d definitely recommend Michael to anyone looking for a dependable and caring dogsitter.
Michael grew up with family pets. He started pet sitting for friends and neighbors when he was in middle school. He has a lifelong love and compassion for animals and would adopt every stray he found if he could. He is extremely responsible and respectful with a strong work ethic. He will care for your pets as he would for his own. He would be an amazing addition to the Rover Team!
