Hi, I’m Mike — a friendly, reliable dog sitter and dog walker based in central Edinburgh. I know how important it is to feel completely confident that your dog is safe, happy and well cared for while you’re away. I understand that every dog has their routine, likes and dislikes. I’ll always take the time to get to know what makes your dog feel comfortable. Whether your dog loves long energetic walks, slower sniffy strolls, playtime, training practice or simply calm company, I’ll make sure they get the care and attention they need. I’m active and outdoorsy, and I love spending time outside, especially on long walks through parks, woodland and up hills. I grew up with dogs and have experience with training, so I’m confident with different temperaments and energy levels. I use patience, consistency and positive reinforcement to build trust, and I’ll always treat your dog with kindness and respect. I’m also very happy to follow your usual house rules. If your dog is allowed on the sofa, that’s absolutely fine with me — and if you prefer stricter boundaries, I’ll stick to those too. My priority is to keep your dog’s routine as familiar and comfortable as possible. I’m calm, responsible and good in an emergency, and I’ll keep you updated so you know your dog is settled and enjoying themselves. My aim is simple: to make sure your dog feels safe, cared for and happy while giving you peace of mind.
