I work part-time in events and pet sit whenever I can! I recently cut my hours at work and have a ton of free time to take care of your babies! My schedule is flexible so I can take time out of my day for midday check-ins and walks.

I have had the pleasure of owning my extremely friendly American Staffodrshire Terrier Lola for 4 years now. I also live with my roommate's dog-friendly cat, Kimba. We live in a two-bedroom apartment in Queen Villiage within walking distance of three dog parks. Your pets are welcome to sleep in my bed with me and Lola and a couch is also available. I want to make sure your pets are as comfortable and happy as possible while you’re away.

I would like to know how comfortable they are around other pets and people, their usual walking and feeding schedule, any dietary restrictions or medical needs.
A typical day
If and when appropriate I enjoy taking walks to the dog park. If there are no other dogs for them to run around with I bring a ball or toy along to play with! If no dog parks are available we will go for long walks around nearby parks to get in our exercise.

Pet care experience
I graduated from college with a degree in Social Work, however, up until my junior year of high school I wanted to be a veterinarian and took courses while in school. I grew up surrounded by animals in my household my whole life. We had a variety of pets from dogs, to guinea pigs to parrots and more. I have been looking after pets professionally now for 5 years and always enjoy it. Taking care of animals has been a passion of mine from a young age and I can't wait to take care of yours!

As always, Micel did an incredible job taking care of our Tucker. We were away on a 10-day trip, the longest we have taken. We had to cancel at the last minute after Micel had already agreed to stay. We were able to reschedule the trip for the following week and she had the flexibility to do the same without complaint. It is a long time to house sit for someone but she rolled with it. Tucker is 14 and eats "real food" now. She handled that just fine too. Can't recommend her highly enough. She is our go to when we need a house sitter for Tucker.
