I am a calm person so I tend to help ease the pet’s nerves and I work to make sure they feel safe with me. I make sure they drink enough water for the day as many animals get dehydrated. If they have any special toys or blankets I make sure they have those. If there are any specifics you need for your pet, I am happy to do them!

Hi! My name is Mia and I am a New York native who just moved back home after graduating college! While in college in Virginia I spent almost three years volunteering at an animal shelter where I was trained to handle dogs, cats, and small animals. Most of my work was with cats where I cleaned their kennels, engaged in enrichment (play time, reading to them, petting, treats), and took their photos for the adoption website. But, I also spent time with dogs and small animals, and I sometimes take care of my friend’s dogs. I absolutely adore all animals and I would love to help you out with your fur babies!

Mia was an absolute angel for my cat, Atticus! I had to leave him much longer than is typical because of back-to-back travel, and when I returned I could tell that he had been very well taken care of. She stayed with him for as long as she could each day, providing him the attention he needs. She was also very communicative and shared multiple pictures of my boy every day. I highly recommend Mia!
Mia was great!! My cat Olive is usually shy around new people, but she warmed right up to her. Mia was friendly, communicative, and sent me tons of pictures which made me feel at ease! Will definitely be booking again in the future :)
Mia is great and always takes lovely photos of my Lola during their walks!
