Found Melonie on Rover and first met her back in January for a meet and greet before a trip I had been planning. That trip ended up not happening, so this was actually our first time using her services. The original meet-up went so well. My dog Sky isn't very socialized and tends to be anxious around new people and places, so how quickly she took to Melonie was a great sign. This was also the first time we'd left Sky with anyone outside of family, so that mattered a lot to us. Since some time had passed, Melonie graciously offered to do another meet and greet before this booking. Sky warmed up to her right away again. This time I brought my daughter along, and she felt just as confident in Melonie as I did. We both knew Sky was in good hands. Melonie has such a calm, pleasant presence, and it clearly puts Sky at ease. She sent us daily updates with pictures throughout the stay, and Sky looked happy and relaxed in every one. We'll absolutely be booking with Melonie again in the future!
Melonie always takes great care of our pup. Karma is an active husky and she is always excited when she has a visit to her favorite Rover sitter. We have done boarding several times and Melonie is always flexible. Communicative and very pleasant to interact with. We know our girl is in great hands. We’ll be coming back again soon.
Very reliable. Melonie did outstanding in caring for Fitz. She made sure i see pictures daily. She became a 2nd Mom to Fitz; no adjustment needed when we dropped him off and he was happy and content when we picked him up. He’s normally anxious in change of environment but he really felt a home with Melonie and her household. No issues at all in our previous and current visits.
Fitz had a wonderful time with Melonie. We found a 2nd home for him and i will truly have a more enjoyable trip knowing Fitz is staying with a wonderful family.
Second stay with Melonie! My dog just ran into her house when we arrived and from the photos, I can tell she was filled with so much joy to be hanging out with Melonie. Really appreciate her watching my pup on a last minute request and showing her so much love 💗

A typical day
Based on my experience, I find that dogs are mentally and physically curious, therefore I like to get them outside in the backyard to play ball games, as well as walk around the neighborhood, on trails and engage other dogs at dog parks (if they are socialized, of course)
