Unfortunately, my experience with Melissa was less than ideal when she cared for my 2 cats for 4 nights. She was able to resolve issues such as initially losing the key and fob to my building and forgetting my unit, however, we had some other rather troubling issues. My primary concerns were that the water bowl was never once refilled, and the litter box was never scooped out during the whole time she was caring for my cats. She didn't attempt to refill their dry food until the third visit, and then she couldn't find it in the clear container in the middle of the room directly across from their food bowls so they didn't get it until the 4th night. The only saving grace was that she accidentally fed them extra wet food per the instructions. I left instructions in the app And on sticky notes in my apartment with instructions for scooping litter, refilling water, and the amount of dry and wet food required, however, those instructions were not followed. I know Rover is primarily an app for dogs, but I chose Melissa because she has a cat, so I presumed she was familiar with caring for cats, but maybe dogs will fare better in her care.

Melissa did a great job taking care of our babies! She sent photos so we could keep up with their activities and let us know they were safe. Thank you for your time with them! She even brought in packages and mail and helped keep the area tidy.

Melissa took care of my guys for 9 days. She was really great at communicating and sending pictures. We felt like everyone was in good hands. When we got home, everyone seemed happy and cared for, and the house was nice and clean. She even washed her used towels for us. I would recommend her for sure.
