Hi! I'm Melissa, and caring for animals has always been one of the biggest passions in my life. For the past 10 years, I've volunteered with animal rescue organisations in both the UK and China, where I've had the privilege of caring for animals and helping them find loving forever homes. During that time, I've fostered six cats in the UK, as well as five adult dogs, two puppies and a kitten in China. Every animal has taught me something new, and I've become confident caring for pets with different personalities, routines and needs. I know how difficult it can be to leave your pet with someone else, so my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable and cared for while you're away. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles or simply a calm companion to keep them company, I'll take the time to get to know them and care for them as if they were my own. I'll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and in safe hands. I can't wait to meet you and your furry family members!

I have full-time availability and a flexible schedule, allowing me to accommodate weekdays, weekends and last-minute bookings. I'm happy to discuss your pet's routine and work around your preferred drop-off and pick-up times whenever possible.

Safety, trust & environment
I provide a safe, calm and caring environment where every pet is treated like part of the family. My home is a bungalow with no stairs, making it suitable for pets of all ages, including senior dogs or those with mobility issues. I also have a fully fenced and secure garden where pets can safely enjoy time outdoors under supervision. I understand that every pet has their own routine, so I'll follow their usual feeding, exercise and sleeping schedule as closely as possible to help them feel settled. I'm experienced using crates if this is part of your pet's routine and will always respect your preferences and instructions. There are several lovely parks and walking routes nearby, and I have access to a car, allowing me to take dogs on regular walks or travel if needed. Having volunteered with animal rescue organisations and fostered both dogs and cats, I'm experienced caring for pets with different personalities and needs, and I always take the time to ensure they feel safe, happy and loved while you're away. I'll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands.
