Hi there! I’m a top-notch dog sitter who treats every pup like my own. My husband and I both work from home so your dog will always have someone to hang out with and be cared for! No detail is too small when it comes to your dog’s care—I follow all instructions to a T to make sure your furry friend is happy, safe, and comfortable. You’ll receive proactive daily updates and plenty of cute pics, so you never have to wonder how your dog is doing. I have dog sat in Chicago, San Diego and now starting back up in Vegas. As a fellow dog owner with set expectations for the care of my pups and through unfortunately my own terrible dog sitting experiences in Vegas with my own pups, rest assured you will have nothing to worry about when your fur baby is staying in our home! Your peace of mind is my priority!

My senior dog, Shadow, loved staying with Melanie! I got frequent updates during her stay. Shadow typically gets so excited to come home after a Rover stay, but she seemed perfectly content to stay at Melanie’s ?
Melanie was an amazing sitter to watch my senior dog for 8 days. It was the longest I had ever left my pup with someone and she was very flexible, provided really cute pictures, and my dog really loved staying with her! She clearly loves dogs, and took really good care of mine!
My pup Brody spent the week with Melanie and it was the perfect place for him. She has a great apartment and he felt right at home immediately. My dog is a total wuss around other dogs, but got along great with Melanie's small dog. We received frequent updates with cute pictures that put our mind at ease while we were on vacation and when our flight got rerouted on the way home and we had to pick him up later than expected, Melanie was very understanding and flexible. I wouldn't hesitate to ask Melanie to watch our dog again!
Melanie is incredibly gracious, patient, and flexible. We are frequent rover users but this was our first in the Chicago area and our first visit with Melanie. My old grump was not his usual self and Melanie was kind and reassuring even when my little guy was whiny and had an accident in the house. While I was a wreck, her energy was more than calming and thankful for her in this situation. Highly recommend.
Melanie was great! We got frequent updates and pix, and when our flight was delayed getting back, she was super accommodating and kept Bernie longer than originally planned. Lifesaver!

Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly schedule because I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to be fully present and attentive. I already have two dogs of my own who thrive on a consistent routine, so I’m used to following a set schedule that includes regular walks, playtime, feeding, and downtime. Adding another pup into the mix is a natural extension of my day—I’m always around to provide care, attention, and companionship throughout the day.

My own two dogs are well-socialized and on a set schedule, which helps create a stable, low-stress environment. I also make sure introductions are done gradually and safely. Whether it’s supervised playtime, cozy nap spots, or one-on-one attention, your pet will be in caring and capable hands.

A typical day in my home is structured, fun, and full of love! Since I work from home, I’m around all day to give plenty of attention and care. The day starts with morning potty breaks and breakfast, followed by some playtime or a walk before it gets too hot out to get the energy out. Throughout the day, there’s a mix of supervised play, mental stimulation (like puzzle toys or treat games), and plenty of cuddle breaks. My two dogs are great companions and love having new buddies to hang with, and I always make sure everyone gets along and feels included. In the evenings, we wind down with a final potty break, dinner, and a cozy spot to relax. Whether it’s a game of fetch, a stroll around the neighborhood, or just some belly rubs on the couch, your pup will feel right at home here!
