My name is Melanie. I'm a passionate pet care professional originally from sunny Florida. I've lived in London for 11 years, the last 7 of which I've spent in Battersea, where I live with my husband. I have many years' worth of experience with both pet- and home-sitting as well as with being a pet parent to dogs and cats. I've had the pleasure of watching and caring for cats, dogs, bunnies, chickens, goats and cows. I have watched animals who were "only children" as well as those who were part of a full-on pack (6 dogs in total, plus one very cool cat). I have also fostered cats with Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, giving me experience caring for kitties with a range of temperaments, from the uber shy to the totally outgoing, as well as those of different ages. As a sitter, I will make sure your pet(s)... ...are walked and exercised regularly, enjoying the outdoors and getting the exercise they need to stay happy and healthy. ...are provided with enough food and water (plus treats, if you give the go-ahead) to keep them nourished and content. ...have a clean litter tray(s) (if applicable) or are let out for bathroom breaks to maintain their cleanliness and comfort. ...are well cuddled and played with (assuming this is what they want, of course) to provide companionship and mental stimulation. ...strike a pose for photo updates that I'll send you during or after each visit, so you can see how much fun they're having. In addition, I can water your plants, collect your mail and take care of other small household tasks to ensure everything runs smoothly while you're away.
