I quit my full-time career to go back to school in pursuit of a new path. While I am taking classes online, my schedule is very flexible, as other than a couple of Zoom meetings throughout my week, I can adjust as needed.

I very much respect your home and will have as little contact (or as much contact) with your things as you would like. Doing what needs to be done for your pet is the goal.

A typical day
Each dog has a unique personality, so I will accommodate whatever the dog wants! If your dog wants to explore the neighborhood and find new smells, we will do that. Play with their favorite ball in the backyard? Of course. Do they love tug of war? Sign me up.

To put it simply, I love animals and they love me. I've had many pets in my 30something years. I've had puppies and kittens. I've had senior dogs and cats. I grew up with 200 pound English mastiffs, have had a 12-pound shih-tzu, and currently have a 95 pound golden retriever along with two cats. Big or small, I can handle them all. My favorite thing to do is take my dog to the dog park; this is where I spend most of my free time. I used to volunteer at a Chicago animal shelter weekly to walk their dogs (Felines and Canines...great organization!) I can assist with check-ins, play time, feeding, walking, giving oral medication...any type of visits you may need. Do they like car rides? We can go for an adventure! I have more free time than usual coming up, and I would love to use it to help out pet parents and their babies.

Megan was wonderful!! Kept in contact with me every time she checked in and walked my dog. By the second visit my dog LOVED her. I felt confident and comfortable being out of town while she was caring for my dog!! Will definitely be using Megan’s help again!! ❤️
Megan is wonderful with all animals, but especially dogs! My dog is especially anxious and because of this, needs quite a bit of attention and loving. Megan is incredibly patient and loving with her, cannot recommend her enough! Your pup will be in great hands!
Megan would be a great, reliable dog walker or pet sitter. She has a way with animals and has a true love for them. Megan has lived with dogs and cats her entire life, so she knows the kind of behaviors to expect and how to handle them. I know she has volunteered at a dog rescue and fell in love with every dog there. I highly recommend Megan.
