Pet sitting is my full time job! I love talking care of cats and dogs while the owners are gone all day at work or on vacation. I spoil them like my own! I offer house sitting for the weekend. During the week I’m unable to spend the night due to son being back in school. School breaks I’m willing to do to over night if I’m available

If you have a fenced in back yard? If so I still require a leash/ leashes to be present. Most be informed if dogs are escape artists. If you don’t have a fenced in back yard or it’s a parcel fenced in yard I require them to be on a leash.

A typical day
I love going for walks! Weather it be through the neighborhood or on nature trails! If your pet is social with other dogs and children then a park will be fun option also, or we could just snuggle and relax on the couch !

Pet care experience
I’ve been pet sitting for over 20 plus years. I have been working on the Rover platform for over 8 years. I love taking care of dogs, cats, pigs , birds and other animals while owners have a busy schedule working , day trips or needs help while going on vacation. Before getting into pet sitting I worked at a vets office in Virginia Beach as a kennel tech and trained at as vet assistance. I learned how to give insulant to cats and dogs as well as giving meds. I have a small zoo of my own at home. i have a 6 year old Golden retriever, cats and 2 crawfish as pets. I always do a meet and greet before any booking. Due to me having a son who has been helping me since birth. i do carry pet care insurance along with rover care insurance.

Megan was great taking care of my kitten!! I’ve never left her alone so I was nervous to but she seemed to enjoy Megan’s company & having someone to play with. No issues at all, definitely recommend 😊
It was so nice to be able to leave our dogs in their own home, which is especially important with a blind pup that does not adjust easily to new surroundings. Megan communicated regularly and I never once worried about the dogs. I would definitely recommend her and use her again.
She’s an amazing sitter and very, very sweet. My dog and I love her to pieces!!
