We have been repeat customers with Megan because she always takes wonderful care of our cats (including one that needs insulin shots), shares photos and updates, and spends time with them each visit. We will continue to book with her anytime we need a sitter!

We hired Megan to watch our two kitties on four separate occasions. The first time was excellent. However, even though I never want to write bad reviews because I never want to negatively affect someone’s attempt at getting work, when a problem repeats itself, I feel the need to leave a three star review. First of all, Megan was amazing with our two cats. They were very happy to spend time with her, and that is all I want to see. She fed them and took care of them exactly as we asked. However, during the second and third visits, Megan did forget to do some things. One time she forgot a container out on the counter (which was empty) but the cats did end up chewing up. On another visit, she forgot to turn a light off and left the child-proof lock unlocked on our front door. The lock is there because the cats know how to open doors. Thankfully no one got out of the apartment! Mistakes can happen, I understand. But we had one recurring issue with every visit which is the reason why we will not be using her services in the future. Megan made it very difficult to pick up and drop off our apartment keys. At first she came to our apartment to get them, but she was not very clear about what time these drop offs would happen and she would sometimes appear with only a 10-minute warning instead of answering our questions about when to expect her. To accommodate her schedule we started going to her home to drop off and pick up the keys but the same problem persisted. She was very vague and would not answer our questions directly. If she said she would get back to us with an answer at a certain time, she would not answer us again until we followed up again with her. If anything ever changed on her end, she never let us know until we reached out for the pickup and drop off and we would have to last minute alter our plans accordingly. Overall, she was forgetful, did not take initiative to plan for any part of these services, and made it a difficult experience for us. I understand there are different expectations for communication, so this just was not a good fit. I wanted to leave a review so other pet owners are not as surprised as we were to have this experience with such a highly rated pet sitter. Regardless, Megan thank you for taking care of our kitties and we do wish you all the best.
