I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I can work around your pets needs and daily routine! If your pet is ill or recovering from surgery, I can bring work with me while visiting them for extended time if needed.

First and foremost, all pets (whether it be dog, cat, rabbit, or hamster) deserve to be loved and treating with love and kindness. I spend the first several minutes saying hello and giving them loads of pats, then I let them outside (where I stay with them) until they're ready to go in. While we're inside I ensure they get one-on-one time, whether it be playing with their favorite toy, cuddling on the couch, or going over whatever tricks they're learning at the time.

Please let me know if the dog will be needing medications, has special needs, or needs special care in any way. This will not deter me from watching the pupper, but having this information and preparing my home will be helpful.
A typical day
Playing fetch, going on walks, playing in a doggy swimming pool on warm days, or just taking a run at the park - your pupper will have lots to do and we'll get that energy worked out before a nice bed time. :)

Pet care experience
I have owned and loved dogs my whole life, and as I've gotten older my love has only grown! I genuinely care about animals and want to give them all the time, patience, and special care that each individual pupper requires. I'm the go-to dog sitter for my friends and family because they know that I will give their animals all the love, cuddles, and attention while they're owners are away. I've fostered and cared for every type of dog you can imagine so I'm comfortable with any breed. I will treat your fur child like my own and you won't have to worry about them being safe while you're away. *I have previously owned and cared for diabetic and special needs dogs I work from home full time, so I will be here throughout the day and night with your pupper. They won't be left alone of unattended other than the occasion where I need to run an errand but I will do my best to coordinate those events for when your pupper isn't here. I have a secure, fenced in backyard as well as a safe neighborhood so we can go on daily walks. I have my own friendly, playful dog (she'll be 6 years old in November) who gets fed twice a day, has tons of toys to play with, and gets frequent outside visits as well as couch / bed access; I can promise that your pet will get all of the same treatment and care that my own pupper receives.

Meagan is phenomenal!! She treated my babies like her own. She sent me daily pics and updates which eased my momma heart. This was my first time using Rover and first time leaving them with a “ stranger”. Meagan made it feel like they were with family again. I will definitely use her again!!!
