I grew up with dogs and cats in the home and have basically 30 years of experience with pets through all stages of their lives! I enjoy getting outside and active with dogs and also staying in and cuddling with my cats and/or dogs. I am great at following any pets routine and making accommodations for them.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a small fenced in back yard within a gated community but ample walking areas within the neighborhood. It's safe and relatively quiet. I do not have any crates or equipment at my own home. At a client's home I will follow all instructions provided and treat the home/pet as if it was my own. I am extremely clean and organized as well.

McKenzie came and stayed overnight with our 4 pups, one of which is a puppy! She was absolutely great! We had just got JD, the puppy, within the past 3 weeks and are still learning about him ourselves so I was a little nervous asking someone to watch him but she was very patient with him. She sent pictures to us throughout the evening as well which made me feel better. She is an absolute sweetheart!
The cats were taken care of perfectly! I can’t thank her enough for watching them and making sure they were ok while I was away!
This was my second time having McKenzie come to our house and watch our two senior dogs. They were well taken care of.
McKenzie is the best! She spends the time making sure Ellie gets her whole walk in and Ellie just loves her so much!
Ellie is loving her walks and is a very happy dog every night when I come home 😊
We hired Mckenzie recently for a two week period while we were on vacation to take care of our 21 year old queen kitty, and our 7 month old new kitten that we recently rescued. We met with her and immediately felt that she was kind, responsible and that our kitties would be in good hands with her. Now that we are back we can say that we were right! She was terrific on all levels. Very communicative with her report cards and pictures and with anything she had a question or concern about. We loved getting the pictures and a few videos since we had not had our new kitten for very long and were very concerned about him. We would not hesitate to hire her again, and are happy to be a future reference for her if needed or desired.

Schedule
I work full-time M-F but am available on the weekends and can have a flexible schedule during the week to provide care in the mornings, evenings or quick stops during lunch hours.
