I’ve known Maya for a long time and she is one of my best friends. She grew up with animals and has always had a natural ability to connect with them in a calm and gentle way. Pets tend to warm up to her quickly, and she has a steady presence that makes animals feel safe and comfortable right away. She has extensive experience caring for her own pets, including her dog Muggsy, her cat Kitty, and her snake Rusty. She was incredibly attentive to all of them and consistently made sure their needs were met with patience, routine, and genuine care. They were truly her babies, and she was fully devoted to their well-being. She has also often been the go-to person among friends and family whenever someone needed a reliable pet caretaker, which says a lot about the trust people place in her. She also looked after my pet when I went out of town and I felt completely at ease knowing my pet was in her care. She not only provided excellent care but also helped reinforce good habits and routines that made a noticeable difference even after I returned. Maya would be a great asset to Rover and I am confident any pet parent would be lucky to have her caring for their pets.

Maya is the best!!! She took such good care of my dog Zona that even my neighbor told me how attentive she was when I came back! My dog is very high anxiety and has a lot of little quirks, but Maya handled everything with such ease and care! I've had a few dog sitters over the past few years, but Maya is by far the person I've felt the most comfortable and confident leaving her with!
