Schedule: I am currently a full-time student, so I devote my time in-between classes to the pets in my care! With the majority of my classes in the mornings, I have the full flexibility of my afternoon and evening schedule to walk, play, and provide your pet with the best individualized care. For overnight clients, each pet is given a morning potty break and short exercise time before my day begins. They then receive multiple potty breaks, walks, and play sessions throughout the day! Walking and drop-in clients can be scheduled during any point in which my schedule is available during the day. Message me to discuss availability!

I have experience with a variety of equipment (ranging from e-collars to Gentle Leaders to basic flat collars), so I am ready and able to continue your pet's training and care with the equipment they are comfortable and familiar with. I always ensure that pets are either in a secure, fenced area or are on-leash at all times. If desired, I can crate your pet while away.

I provide a variety of enrichment activities for both walks and drop-in sitting. Walking routes will differ from client to client based upon location and each dog's personality. Drop-ins will be offered a wide variety of activities to ensure proper mental and physical stimulation. I pride myself in making each walk/drop-in a positively reinforced experience.

I am currently an undergraduate pre-veterinary student at Mississippi State University. Besides owning personal dogs and other small pets my entire life, I have professional experience in the animal industry, including the veterinary field. I also raise future assistance dogs for people with disabilities, which has given me an in-depth knowledge of canine behavior and communication. I have multi-faceted experience with dogs and apply this knowledge to every pet in my care. My services include dog walking and drop-in or overnight pet sitting (at your home) for dogs and cats. I would be thrilled to provide personalized care for your four-legged family members for as short as a day or as long as a month! I am very flexible! I love all dogs - all breeds, shapes, sizes, and ages! I have experience with senior pets, as well as high-energy dogs and working dogs. Maya did an excellent job taking care of my cat. She got my instructions perfectly and kept me posted on my cat status every time. I will definitely ask her services again since she was so reliable!
Maya worked with my 100 pound Lab to teach him better leash habits. We had been to obedience school, but he’s very large and quite powerful. I was afraid he might try to chase a squirrel while I’m walking him, and drag me along! After only a few sessions, Maya had him behaving much better.She’s excellent with dogs and I highly recommend her.
Maya is the best dog sitter we have ever used! She even trained our newest fur baby to leash walk and sit on command. She is professional and extremely knowledgeable about animals. I would definitely recommend her to help care for your fur babies!
