Safety, trust & environment
My top priorities are your peace of mind and your furry fried's comfort - being away from a beloved pet is stressful enough as it is. Each pet has their own individual personality, needs, and boundaries and it is my job to know these and ensure their routine is not disrupted. I have also recently completed a Pet 1st Aid & CPR training course.
Information Maud J. would like to know about your pet
* Any particular/unusual likes, dislikes, phobias, medical conditions * For older pets, if they need extra help with anything * Food ant treat allowance * Preferred games/toys * For dogs, important commands (e.g. recall, 'drop it', etc)
A typical day
A typical day very much depends on your pet's temperament! In general, I get a good idea of what is needed based on conversations with the owner. For shyer pets, Always best to take things at the pet's pace, expecially if they are a bit shy at first. For cats, a good mix of play (wand toys, ping pong balls anyone?) and chill time is usually the best. Cats can get lonely, even if they don't necessarily show it. They are so much more relaxed and happy if they can feel that someone they trust is around. And sometimes this means being in the same room for an hour or so, busy with one's own thing like reading & napping. For dogs I am a strong believer of long and fun walks but only if suitable to your dog's personality.

Reliable and loving pet care
Pet care experience
Dogs are the BEST, we all know that. I have never been able to get my own but I will one day. In the meantime, I am taking every single opportunity I can find to spend time with dogs. And yes I am that person. The one who smiles to every single dog on the street? Borrow friends' dogs whenever possible? Actually wants to see pictures of your dog? Even if I have always been around dogs, I have really started dog sitting for family and friends in 2020, for durations ranging from 10 days to 9 weeks. The biggest dog under my loving care is 43kg (a very sweet English bulldog). Please note that I have limited experience with puppies younger than 1 year old). However, my brother just got a 5-month old miniature American shepherd (Saito) and I cannot wait to bridge this experience gap! I have recently completed a Pet First Aid & CPR course (April 2026)

Reviews

It was a great pleasure to meet Maud, and my Lottie thought so too! Maud is very conscientious and responsible, and someone you can rely on to look after your pet and your home well while you're away. I highly recommend.

Maud couldn’t have been more calm and helpful! Thank you Maud! Gigi was very happy and relaxed to spend time with Maud and I am grateful to Maud for accommodating such a last minute request so seamlessly!

Maud took such wonderful care of our little French bulldog, Robert. He’s bursting with energy, so there was lots of fun and playtime, and as a true cuddle lover, he was in heaven with all the snuggles Maud happily gave him. She kept us feeling completely at ease with regular updates and plenty of lovely photos during her stay, which we really appreciated. Robert has allergies, and Maud was incredibly attentive—she followed all our instructions so carefully, making sure his medication was given on time and his skincare routine was carried out perfectly. It’s clear how much Robert adores her, and that means everything to us. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Maud again and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for someone kind, reliable, and genuinely caring.
I wholeheartedly recommend Maud for pet sitting. She took exceptional care of my cats during several summers, feeding them well and ensuring they were happy and healthy. She also looked after my home and plants with the same attention to detail. Her daily updates were a reassuring touch, and it was clear my cats adored her. I trust her entirely with their well-being and my property.
