I’m a South African living in London. Not having animals living with me has been a struggle and to be able to spend time with animals would be fun and a meaningful activity. My work is flexible in terms of working from home.

I’m quite open to the type of breed or size of dog/cat. I’ve had experience across the spectrum and am comfortable with any type of pet.
A typical day
I love going to the park so that would be ideal. I also know a big open area in the park where I could throw the ball or do any other moving activity with the dog. I also love playing with them but also enjoy relaxing with them.

Pet care experience
Apart from having cats and dogs throughout my life, I’ve had lots of experience through apps such as BorrowMyDoggy & Rover and privately through friends. Experiences includes dog walking, pet sitting (both cats and dogs) and ranges from puppies/kittens to senior pets including administering medicine. I love the company of animals and walking/looking after animals gives me joy and a fun activity to do (especially when the weather is nice) :D

Matthew was great with our little cockerpoo Otis whilst staying at our flat for the week. He met us at short notice and was very kind and willing with anything we asked him. He kept us up to date multiple times per day with pictures and videos and Otis was very comfortable with him. Thanks Matt!
Matthew took great care of our cats whilst we were away, got home to find them very happy!
