Hi, I’m Mathea! I’ve been caring for animals my whole life from playful puppies to independent cats. I grew up on a farm in Pitt Meadows, BC, surrounded by dogs, cats, and all kinds of animals, which gave me years of hands on experience and a deep love for every pet I meet. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes from large Cane Corsos to tiny teacup pups and I’m just as comfortable with cats, whether they’re shy, affectionate, or full of personality. As soon as I was old enough to go out on my own, I was walking neighbours’ dogs and helping care for cats all over town. Over the years, I’ve also boarded and looked after pets for family and friends, making sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. Animals have always been my biggest passion. I grew up with a Great Pyrenees, a Shih Tzu, a Golden Retriever, and several cats and when I was a kid, I used to say I wanted to be a “puppy doctor.” That same love and dedication still drive me today.
