Hello everyone! My name is Martina, an italian girl just finished her PhD in Genetics at University of Leicester. I have had a lovely Yorkie for 14 years (Maya, in the pic). She has always had health problems (she underwent three surgeries and was suffering of seizures and food allergy) which means I am well trained to take care of any kind of need your dog might have (I learned how to do injections, clean wounds, give a bath, administrate pills or other medicaments on a daily basis and respecting the time). Since I moved abroad I have missed her a lot. Even though she is not with me anymore I still have a lot of love and care to give and so i thought the best way was to become a pet sitter which not only might help someone in need but would also help me to do one of the things that i love most! I am not going to the lab at the moment as I just submitted my thesis which means I am quite flexible about days and hours. About me, I consider myself a very friendly and easy-going person. In addition I fluently speak Italian, English, Spanish a bit of Arabic. I also have a car. If you think I could be a good temporary companion for your pet, do not hesitate to contact me. :)
