Please let me know what special care maybe required and if your dog is happy to walk off lead. I will always carry small treats to enable recall. I will either have one medium dog or one or two small dogs at the same time as it is important to be able to give them a good walk and care

Your dog will have plenty of fun in our big garden or can relax on the sofa or rug in the hall He will enjoy walks in the woods or open countryside and on warm days can swim in the chalk stream rivers nearby.

My 2 year old Tibetan Terrier, Wilbur, had never been left with anyone before, other than family, so I was a bit nervous leaving him for the day with Martha. I had no need to be. Martha met with us beforehand so that Wilbur could have a look around her house and meet her dog, Gidget. The day I dropped Wilbur off he went in without a backward glance and when I picked him up at the end of the day he didn't want to come home! Martha had taken great care of him and he had a lovely long walk with Gidget and a paddle in a stream as it was a hot day. I would highly recommend Martha as she took excellent care of Wilbur and made sure he had a good time. Wilbur is already looking forward to his next stay! Avril Carmichael.
Martha is clearly experienced with and likes dogs and my dog was comfortable and happy with her from the start. I liked that she wanted to meet beforehand to make sure she and her own dog were comfortable with mine before she committed (they were). I would highly recommend Martha and will definitely ask for her support again in the future.
This was Rocky’s second holiday with Martha and he bounced down the drive with his tail wagging without a second look back. As usual I was kept up to speed with photos and updates during the whole stay. Rocky loved being with Martha and Gidget so much he was actually a bit sad when he came home! Brilliant job as ever.
