I work full time, but like to be home with my babies when I am not working. Outside of that I am spending time with my fur babies.

Safety, trust & environment
In My Home (Boarding/Daycare): Pets staying with me become part of the family. I maintain a calm, safe, and pet-friendly environment where they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible—including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions. My two friendly dogs are well-socialized and used to having other pets around, helping visiting pets feel comfortable and included. There’s always time for walks, play, and lots of snuggles. In Your Home (Drop-ins/House Sitting): When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine consistent to reduce stress. I provide feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter box or yard clean-up, and medication if needed. I also make sure your home is respected and kept tidy while you’re away. I send regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for. No matter the service, I treat every pet like my own—with patience, attention, and lots of love.

Information Marsha D. would like to know about your pet
To provide the best care possible, I like to learn as much as I can about each pet ahead of time. Every animal is unique, and understanding their needs helps me keep them happy, safe, and comfortable. Some important things I like to know include: • Daily routine: feeding schedule, walk times, sleep habits • Personality & temperament: shy, energetic, anxious, social, etc. • Behavior with other animals: especially important since I have two friendly dogs • Medical needs: medications, allergies, or any health concerns • Dietary restrictions: special food, treats to avoid, portion sizes • Training & commands: house-trained, crate-trained, basic commands they know • Triggers or fears: loud noises, separation anxiety, certain situations • Favorite activities: toys, games, walking style, cuddle preferences The more I know, the better I can match their routine and make them feel at home. My goal is to create a stress-free, loving environment where your pet feels safe and cared for—just like they would with you.
A typical day
I love making sure every pet feels happy, comfortable, and entertained while they’re with me! Depending on their personality, energy level, and your preferences, I include a variety of fun activities throughout the day. For active pets, we enjoy daily walks, outdoor playtime, and games like fetch or tug-of-war to help them burn energy and stay stimulated. For more relaxed pets, I focus on gentle play, belly rubs, and lots of snuggles so they feel safe and loved. Since my two dogs are very social and friendly, your pet will also have the opportunity for safe, supervised social time (if they enjoy being around other dogs). When we’re home, there’s always time for interactive toys, enrichment activities, and just hanging out together so they never feel alone. I also love incorporating routine and consistency, so your pet feels right at home—whether that’s their favorite walking route, play style, or cuddle time. My goal is simple: make sure your pet is not just cared for, but truly enjoys their time with me!

Pet care experience
I’m someone who has had a love for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up with pets wasn’t just a part of my life—it was my life. My Dad taught biology and always was bringing all kinds of pets home for us. From early mornings filled with wagging tails to quiet nights with a furry friend curled up beside me, caring for animals has always come naturally to me. Today, that love continues with my two dogs, who are truly part of everything I do. They go everywhere with me. They go boating and camping with me as well. They’re not just pets; they’re family, and they’ve helped shape a home that’s full of warmth, comfort, and lots of tail wags. When I am not working, you’ll usually find me at home spending quality time with my fur babies—whether it’s going on long walks, playing, or just enjoying cozy snuggles on the couch. My home is calm, loving, and pet-friendly in every way. I would absolutely love the opportunity to care for your fur babies as if they were my own. Whether they need a place to stay, extra attention, or just some good company, they’ll be welcomed with open arms (and plenty of treats and cuddles!). Your pets deserve a safe, happy place—and I’d love to be that for them.
