I've been caring for dogs since I was 10, looking after my own pets and neighbor's dog when they're out of town. I understand the importance of companionship and make it my mission to ensure your furry friends feel loved and never alone. Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Whether it be my own or a neighbor's, l've always gone above and beyond to ensure that the animal is well taken care of. I will make sure your dog gets the specific attention and care that they need, and they have an enjoyable experience. This work goes far beyond simply watching dogs, it’s about providing consistent, attentive, and trustworthy care to dogs who are an important part of your family. I take pride in being reliable, patient, and detail oriented, making sure each dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I put into every visit. I treat every dog as if they were my own, pay close attention to their individual needs, and maintain clear, consistent communication with owners for peace of mind. Sparky is the reason behind it all. He showed me a love I can’t even fully put into words, loyal, pure, and unconditional. He wasn’t just my dog, he was my comfort, my routine, and a piece of my heart. Losing him was one of the hardest things I’ve ever gone through, and there are still moments I feel that emptiness so deeply. But at the same time, he gave my life so much meaning and showed me exactly the kind of care and love every dog deserves. Because of Sparky, I’m more patient, more understanding, and more intentional with every dog I care for. I know how much they mean to you, because I know what it feels like to love a dog with your whole heart. A part of him lives on in everything I do, in every walk, every cuddle, and every moment I spend making sure your babies feel safe and loved.

Maritza was great! I needed someone to watch Rocket for seven days and really appreciated that she was able to accommodate us on short notice. She coordinated both drop-off and pick-up with ease, and her location was very convenient. She sent me updates every day with photos and videos, which gave me a lot of peace of mind while I was away. Rocket got plenty of attention, including long walks, and when there were events or opportunities for him to be around other dogs, she always checked with me first to make sure I was comfortable with it. I really appreciated that courtesy and communication. Maritza was wonderful with Rocket, and I felt very comfortable having him in her care. I would absolutely trust her to watch him again anytime and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog caregiver (more than just a sitter) Thank you Maritza!

I seriously cannot recommend Maritza enough! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From the moment I dropped my girls off, I felt completely comfortable leaving them in her care. She sent me pictures and updates every single day, and it was so nice being able to see how happy and comfortable they were while I was away. They were outside enjoying themselves, going on walks, getting plenty of attention, and honestly looked like they were having their own little vacation. 😂🐾❤️ When I picked them up, they were both SO happy, relaxed, and clearly very well cared for. You can tell Maritza genuinely loves animals and treats them like her own. That kind of peace of mind when you’re traveling is priceless. Thank you so much, Maritza, for taking such amazing care of my girls! We will absolutely be booking with you again for our future trips. 🫶🏼🐶💕

I will also send you lots of pictures and videos throughout the stay or towards the end of the visit(s) For safety, I also ask that you provide emergency contact details and your preferred veterinarian's information.

A typical day
A typical day as a dog sitter includes lots of fun, care, and attention. I start by checking in on the pets, feeding them, and taking them out for a walk or an outing to the park, beach, or even a hike if they enjoy it. I love to ensure your pets are stimulated both physically and mentally, and going out for walks and exploring the neighborhood is one of my go to activities. Throughout the day, I provide drop in visits for bathroom breaks, playtime, and companionship. We might play fetch, use puzzle toys, enjoy treat games, or have fun with squeaky toys, feel free to pack your pet’s favorite activities! If they prefer a more relaxed pace, we can also spend time cuddling and unwinding. In the evening, I make sure they have a final bathroom break, a treat, and some calm time. Every visit is tailored to keep your pet happy, comfortable, and engaged.
