Experienced caretaker for furry family members
I'm Marita and I'm an experienced intercultural caretaker. I have lots of experience looking after cats and dogs of different ages, and rescuing them too. I have less experience with birds, but I'm happy to take care of them too. I'd love to look after the furry members of your family! I've taken care of all kinds of dogs and cats, from those with disabilities to senior and baby ones. One of my favourite memories is the week that I took care of a beautiful kitty in France who had three legs and needed daily visits to play and keep everything super tidy and nice for her, during the end of year holidays. I've also got experience as a cat midwife, which I love! I'm currently researching on ethics, public policies and animal rights as an angle during my studies on environmental governance. I've published a thesis on agenda-setting and the approval of a bill on animal protection. I'm also an animal rights activist, and I'm sure you'll agree that we're on the same page!

I take care of your beloved family member in your place, and also I'm happy to do walkings. Due to the rules of my current apartment, sadly I can't take care of any animals inside my place.

Marita: The Dog Whisperer We Didn’t Know We Needed If Atlas and Toggle could leave a review, it would just be one long howl of joy and probably a request to move in with Marita permanently. From the moment we dropped them off, Marita rolled out the red carpet like they were furry little royalty. Daily updates? Check. Hilarious photos? Double check. Atlas looking majestic and Toggle living his best derpy life? You bet. We were worried they’d miss us—turns out we missed them way more. When we picked them up, they were happy, relaxed, and honestly gave us the “ugh, already?” look. I’m not saying Marita is a dog sitter… I’m saying she might secretly be a canine cult leader (but like, the fun kind with snacks and cuddle time). 10/10 would book again—assuming Atlas and Toggle don’t just pack their bags and move in with her full time.

Schedule
Due to my Master Sc. studies, I'm available from 4 pm. during the working week. On Saturdays and Sundays I'll be happy to support you from morning until night (flexible).
