A typical day
A fun day in my care begins with a warm welcome and plenty of excitement! Your pet will start the day with a stretch and a little playtime outside, exploring our spacious acreage, sniffing the fresh air, and enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. Whether it’s chasing a ball, running around with my playful dog, or simply lounging in the sun, there’s always something to keep them engaged. After a morning of outdoor fun, we might head indoors for some cuddles, belly rubs, or even a nap on the couch (because it’s their couch too!). If your pet enjoys interactive play or learning new tricks, I’ll be sure to keep their brain stimulated with fun activities or training games. Throughout the day, there’s always time for some farm chores, and if your pet enjoys being around other animals, they’re welcome to join in the action! Whether it’s helping me feed the horses or watching the other animals, there’s plenty of opportunity for enrichment. Of course, if your pet needs a little downtime or prefers their own space, I’ll make sure they have a quiet area to relax. By the end of the day, your pet will be tired, happy, and ready for a peaceful night’s sleep, knowing they’ve been loved and cared for every step of the way.

Hello! I’m Marissa, I'm excited to offer pet-sitting services through Rover. Our home is a warm, welcoming environment where pets become part of the family! I live on a spacious acreage with plenty of room for outdoor adventures, and I share my home with a variety of animals, including a fluffy dog, small equine, and other farm animals. Having lived and worked with animals for years, I’m experienced in caring for a diverse range of pets. Whether it’s a playful pup, a curious horse, or a flock of feathered friends, I understand the unique needs each one has. I’m also trained in handling minor emergencies and pet wounds, so you can feel confident that your beloved companions will be in good hands. I believe in the power of spending quality time outdoors, so your pets will get plenty of fresh air, exercise, and love during their stay with me. Whether it’s a hike around the property, cuddles on the couch, or helping with farm chores, I make sure every pet feels safe, secure, and happy.
