Your Dog's Home Away From Home
I have always had a dog (or more) my whole life and believe life isn't complete without at least one dog by your side :) I have been dogsitting for 20 years and have been grooming dogs for 15 years. I can empathize with the feelings of nervousness when leaving your dog, but rest assured, I welcome your fur baby with open arms! Our house is definitely dog friendly with a large yard for the dogs to play if they wish! Our first and foremost concern is that your pet is safe and happy. For this reason, we do recommend that you have treated your furry baby with a flea and tick preventative such as Frontline, K9 Advantix, or Bravecto. While we have not had an issue with the above mentioned critters, we do have our yard treated regularly with a pet-safe product as well as have our personal babies treated with Bravecto as a preventative. Also, because there are a fair number of fur kids who come visit, we recommend that your dog be current on all vaccinations, including Bordatella. *A strong recommendation is that your dog be vaccinated against Lepto (Leptospirosis). We just want the best for your pup as well as our own furry-children :) We want your fur baby to have an amazing experience at our home, so please feel free to bring blankets or bedding from home as this will help to comfort them. We encourage you to let us know if you think there's anything that we can do to help provide that feeling of comfort and we are happy to accommodate! Yet another wonderful weekend stay for my 12‑year‑old wheaten terrier at Marisa’s home. He has the best time with her dogs and always comes back happily exhausted. Marisa’s care, attention, and daily photo updates mean so much. She’s truly exceptional. Highly recommend.
Marisa has been so amazing to work with! We have used her in home boarding for our dog many times. Our dog loves going to her house! Marisa is so responsive and sends pictures often to keep us updated.
We have been at what we call “Camp Marisa” for years. Cannot recommend them enough. Such a lovely couple — our dogs love going here!

A repeat of my previous reviews...an A+++ experience as usual! I've run out of things to say other than my 11-year-old male Wheaten Terrier has the best time at Marisa's and doesn't look forward to coming home! He had so much fun this time with a 3-night stay and loves Marisa's dogs. Marisa is wonderful and caring and super mellow. She has such a calmness about her that I never worry about a thing with my dog in her care. Her home is awesome and very dog-friendly with plenty of dog beds and toys. I receive daily updates with photos, and I know my dog is in the best hands when he's with her. Highly recommend!
Another fantastic week-long stay for my 11-year-old male Wheaten Terrier. Marisa is so awesome and has a calm demeanor and truly loves what she does. I've had my dog stay with her numerous times over the years and he always has the best time with her and her dogs. Her home is lovely and very dog-friendly with plenty of dog beds and toys. Marisa sends daily updates with photos, and I know my dog is in the best hands when he's with her. Highly recommend!
