Hello! My name is Marie and I'm a traveling home and farm sitter with 25+ years of experience. Kite Hill Canines is my full-time job -- offering dog walking and pet care on the North Coast. I have experience looking after dogs, cats, small pets, cattle, sheep, goats. If you’re looking for a service that doesn’t quite fit the descriptions below, please don’t hesitate to ask. I’m eager to adapt to the needs of the community. I’m PetTech and Red Cross certified in Pet CPR & First Aid. I’m a member of Pet Sitters Associates and insured through Pet Care Insurance. For house-sitting, I travel with my heelers Percy, Koda & Tasmin in our Sprinter van. We can stay on your property in the van, or in your home, or a combo of both. My dogs are seasoned travelers and enjoy life on road. My dogs are crate trained, house broken and UTD on vaccines & flea preventative. They are good travelers and house guests. I usually keep them separate and exercise them independently from my clients' resident dogs -- especially during short or first-time house-sits. I travel with crates and baby gates for them. They will go with me whenever leave your property during the day. Please let me know whether your pets have shared their home with visiting dogs before. Marie A. // Kite Hill Canines // December 2025 Drop-In Visits 30- or 60-minute drop-in visit at your home Drop-in visits can include potty breaks, yard clean-up, meals, administering medications … whatever fits into the allotted time! Dog Walking 30-or 60-minute leash walk in your neighborhood – rain or shine! Doggy Day Care in Seaside Your dog will be in my home with myself and other dogs. This is home-based pet care, not a daycare facility. Depending on the day, we may play in yard, go on walks, car rides, errands, beach, hike, etc. Daycare dogs need to be comfortable around other dogs and with resting in a crate periodically. Please send your dog with enough kibble, chews or Kongs for their stay. Please note: I’m unable to board dogs with moderate or severe separation anxiety. Boarding in Seaside Your dog will stay in my home with myself, Percy, Koda & Tasmin. This is home-based boarding, not a boarding facility. We usually spend part of our day at home, playing in the yard, going on leash walks, car rides, errands, hikes or beach adventures. Boarding dogs need to be comfortable around other dogs and with resting in a crate periodically. Please send your dog with enough kibble, chews or Kongs for their stay. We can stay in the home or in our transport van.
