I’ve been taking care of my own rescue dog for over 10 years, so I’m very familiar with everyday routines like walking, feeding, and giving a little basic training. Because she came from a shelter, I also learned how to help a dog settle in, feel safe, and build trust at their own pace. From time to time, I’ve also looked after dogs belonging to friends and neighbors. Every dog is different, so I’ve gotten used to adapting to their personalities, whether they’re super playful, shy at first, or just enjoy calm company. What sets me apart is that I’m patient and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs. I try to make them feel comfortable and cared for, so they can relax and have a good time while you’re away. My goal is always to create a positive experience for your dog and to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. Español: Llevo más de 10 años cuidando de mi propio perro de rescate, así que estoy muy familiarizada con las rutinas diarias como los paseos, la alimentación y el entrenamiento básico. Como ella venía de una protectora, también aprendí a ayudar a un perro a adaptarse, sentirse seguro y ganar confianza a su propio ritmo. I only offer pet care in the owner’s home, which I think helps pets feel most comfortable and secure. When I arrive, I pay close attention to their body language and give them time to understand that I’m friendly and not a threat. I keep my own energy calm and inviting, so the pet feels safe right away. Depending on the owner’s wishes, I can feed, walk, or play with the animal. I also make sure the pet always has fresh water and feels comfortable throughout my visit. If a pet is nervous or afraid, I offer comfort and reassurance. My goal is always to create a trusting, relaxed environment where pets feel secure, cared for, and comfortable, giving owners peace of mind while they’re away. Passt gut so! Maria has taken care of my dog several times and has always been super reliable. She walked him and also looked after my guinea pig while I was on vacation for a week. My dog absolutely loves her. You can really tell she loves animals and knows how to handle them well :)

Schedule
I’m currently studying in Helsinki, but my schedule is pretty light, which means I have lots of time to spend with pets. My weekly timetable changes a bit, but it usually doesn’t interfere with my free time. I’m always available in the evenings, and mornings or afternoons are flexible depending on the day. I’m happy to provide visits or walks of any length, depending on what your pet needs. I’m open to both regular and occasional pet sitting, and I genuinely enjoy every opportunity to spend time with animals. So far, I’ve mostly cared for my own dog and cat at the same time, but I’m excited to look after multiple pets if needed. My goal is always the same: to make sure every animal I care for feels safe, happy, and loved, while giving you peace of mind.
