I work from home full-time, which gives me the flexibility to provide one-on-one attention, potty breaks, walks, and a calm, structured environment. I am mainly open to care for hypoallergenic dogs but also others on case by case basis, so just feel free to reach out. I don’t crate dogs unless requested and am happy to follow your dog’s routine for meals, walks, supplements, or special care.

My dogs are trained and well behaved. If your dog needs space from mine, we have a gate that can keep them separated. All dogs must be current on vaccinations, free of contagious illnesses, and on a flea/tick prevention. Also, because my own fur babies are family members who are allowed on furniture and throughout the home, I ask that all guest doggies arrive clean and well-groomed. Please ensure your dog has been recently bathed or is free of excessive dirt, strong odors, fleas, ticks, or other hygiene concerns before drop-off. This is for the safety and comfort of all pets in my care. Please know that I only accept dogs that are spayed or neutered. No exceptions. Thank you for understanding and helping me maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all the doggies in my care.

It’s very important for me to know your pet’s routine, temperament, and any special needs in advance. Please let me know if your dog has any allergies, medical conditions, anxiety triggers, or food restrictions. I’d also like to know their potty schedule, whether they’re crate-trained (if that’s something you want), and how they are with other dogs and children. If they take any medications, vitamins, or supplements, I’m happy to follow your instructions closely. The more I know about your pet’s personality, habits, and preferences, the better I can make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home.

I love keeping pets active, engaged, and feeling loved while they’re with me! For the dogs I watch, I tailor activities based on their personality and energy level. This may include walks around the neighborhood, indoor playtime with toys, belly rubs, and cuddles. For calmer or older dogs, I offer a peaceful, cozy environment with lots of affection and gentle care. Whether it’s tossing a toy, relaxing together on the couch, or just talking to them (yes, I talk to dogs like they’re little people!), I make sure they feel safe, happy, and at home. Also, I have plenty of treats and even organic blueberries, as my dogs love them! So, if your fur baby does not have a sensitive stomach and you are okay with it, I provide treats for them.

What sets me apart as a sitter is the genuine love, attention, and care I provide because, to me, dogs are family. I don’t just “watch” dogs, I care for them as if they were my own. With years of hands-on experience and a fur family that includes a Maltese, a Shih Tzu, a Labradoodle, and a Standard Poodle, I understand that every dog is unique and deserves personalized attention, gentle handling, and a safe, loving environment. My dogs are friendly and get along well with others, and I always require a meet-and-greet beforehand to ensure your dog feels comfortable, happy, and at ease with me and my home. Your furry companion’s happiness, safety, and well-being are always my top priorities.

Maria was a gem! she went above and beyond in every way. She sent plenty of pictures and videos throughout the stay. Cub came home not only safe and sound, but clearly spoiled like she was the one that didn’t want the vacation to end 😂 I know my dog is looking for me to step up my game. Maria gave her plenty of love, playtime, and extra treats. Maria is a 10/10 sitter.
Maria was great with my dog Jack—regular updates and she treated him like her own. Everything went smoothly and he was very well cared for.
Amazing sitter for our dog, definitely will be the first to know if we have another vacation planned. Videos and pictures were sent on a daily basis so made us feel really good and not concerned about her care. Thanks Maria!
We have left our dog Larry with Maria multiple times now. It is obvious that she loves dogs and she took great care of Larry! She is excellent at providing updates during the boarding. We will be using Maria again!
