I have a very friendly playful dog. Your dog can be crated in an extra large crate if requested but prefer to give them a fun and active vacation ! Your dog must get along with other dogs. I’m sure you will appreciate that I require that your dog be on flea and tick medication so they won’t come home to you with new unwanted friends.

Let me know of any situations your dog finds stressful, and what to expect around other dogs. Please also provide proof of vaccination status and flea and tick medication status. I’m sure you’ll understand that I only take dogs that are fully house trained and that do not mark.
A typical day
We will have fun taking at least a couple of walks to the park or along the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Tons of fun smells and exercise! Your dog will also love playing and chasing the ball in a fenced dog park. Inside, playtime comes around often: chasing balls, tug -of-war and general roughhousing if that's what your baby likes. Not to be fooled by so much activity, relaxing and napping on the couch are also important.

Downtown based, high energy and loving retiree. Unlike many pet sitters, I host only one dog at a time in order to provide the love and care they deserve. I’m very active and will take your leash trained dog on multiple walks a day (Chica, my playful love bug chihuahua mix and I enjoy walking 2-3 miles a day). As I live right off the Swamp Rabbit trail, your dog will love smelling all the interesting scents of Unity Park (a half mile away), Falls Park ( a half mile the other way), the riverwalk, or playing in the fenced dog park. With consent, we also love to go to Paris Mountain for a hike. Inside, playtime comes around often: chasing balls, tug -of-war and general roughhousing if that's what your baby likes. Not to be fooled by so much activity, relaxing and napping on the couch are also important. I have experience with elderly dogs, administering medications, etc.

Margery was wonderful! She gave our fur baby a lot of love and was patient with him when he was having anxiety from being in a new place. She provided daily updates and pictures. I recommend her to anyone looking for a home away from home!

Margery is so wonderful! I knew my baby boy was in the best care. He had the most fun playing with Chica and got lots of cuddles and attention from Margery. She kept me updated and sent pics while I was out of town which made me comfortable to not have to worry about our dog Louie. I would definitely recommend Margery and would not hesitate to think of her the next time we need to board our Louie.
As usual, Margery and Chica exceeded our expectations. Howie looks forward to visits with his Auntie M. We cannot praise her enough for the love and care she showers on our poor little matchstick puppy.
