We used Marc for a two week housesitting stint for our 15 year old dog with dementia. Marc visited Heidi three times before we left to begin to build a rapport with her. Heidi is a Shiba and was always stingy with affection, nevermind when she wakes up scared and disoriented. Marc worked hard to gain Heidi's trust and make her as comfortable as possible. He administered her medication easily and adapted when she would refuse to take it. She ate the entire time we were gone (which is not always so). Marc was communicative the whole time and asked questions when he was unsure of something. As Heidi is 15, she has accidents. He woke himself up three times a night to try to avoid accidents, which was clearly above and beyond what we would expect. He left the house clean and he even visited Heidi when we got home. Heidi greeted him with kisses! We came home to a content, well-taken care of dog. The level of anxiety I had leaving our dog was extremely high. His communication and updates allowed me to relax and enjoy our vacation. We are forever grateful to Marc for taking such good care of our sweet girl. Without a doubt, we would use Marc again.
